It’s driving me nuts having to buy beer. I fell into the peer pressure of making a NEIPA. It seems like prices for quality beer are going up again. It is hard to justify paying too much for a six pack. Especially, when I can make it myself fairly inexpensively. I already invested in the equipment. The cost now is mainly for the ingredients.
Shop shoes for the summer.
Being comfortable can be the make or break attribute to getting things done. Sure there are the hard core people that say there shouldn’t be anything that stops someone from completing a chore. When your feet hurt, sometimes that is all you can think about. After a few years of the same boots and a couple small leaks, it was time to get a new pair. Usually, I get a large pair of boots that are really built for anything. That doesn’t mean they are the most comfortable. This year a pair of work shoes have been chosen. The heat and humidity can really make someone want put off a project. This year, it won’t be because of feet.
Wax on, wax off
Having a camper is a huge privilege. It takes some maintenance. I don’t want to get caught in the cycle of replacing it often. So far, it has performed well. Most repairs are not that difficult. Making the exterior look good can be some work. Waxing. It isn’t difficult, but very tiresome and time consuming. There is a lot of area to cover and buff. This is the first year an electric buffer was used. It made the job somewhat easier, but still took effort to run. Each year new tricks are learned and the job does not take quite as long. This year, it may be done twice. I want it to last.
